A Spirit in the Suwannee takes on an alternate interpretation of a famous folk tradition in North Florida. Inspired by the Suwannee River and the music festival that takes place in the state park, the piece follows the river’s spirit as it flows and interacts. Be careful and gentle, and you will not anger her.
